JLC Ministry
Jesus Lifting Children (JLC) is a ministry of New Hope UMC whose purpose is to lift up local school children in need by providing them with basic clothing, hygiene, and school supply needs so that the children will be able to attend school in comfort and with dignity to help them focus on their studies, help them feel better about themselves, and allow them to interact with their fellow students in a positive way.
We are currently assisting the Pellston Public Schools through contact with the school administration in order to assess the children's needs and distribute supplies to children in need.
Luke 9:48 The he (Jesus) said to them, "Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me, welcomes the one who sent me."
